I went to MMC and checked the URI Query box, then ran another 30 test searches to populate the server log after the change. Then I changed the config file so the search configuration is this single line:
SEARCHENGINE http://ww3.accessatg.net/corp_systems_group/search/search.asp target
The analog error log now shows only 1 line related to the .asp search:
C:\analog\analog 5.02\analog.exe: Warning R: Turning off empty Search Word Report
The server log shows repeating instances of this for my searches:
2001-11-20 20:18:27 10.100.3.229 - GET /corp_systems_group/search/search.asp target=data&goButton=+Go+&navEvent=Top 200 0 http://www3.accessatg.net/corp_systems_group/search/search.asp?target=data&goButton=+Go+&navEvent=Top
2001-11-20 20:18:29 10.100.3.229 - GET /corp_systems_group/search/search.asp target=data&goButton=+Go+&navEvent=Top 200 0 http://www3.accessatg.net/corp_systems_group/search/search.asp?target=data&goButton=+Go+&navEvent=Top
I took out everything pertaining to the IIS search feature (the .idq file, etc) and decided to just focus on the .asp search for now.
Any help appreciated.
