Thanks for your reply. Let's say the user selects the same URL three times and the log looks like:
111.111.111.11 - "sesessionid=QTGXOYZK3TPCTLZZGGK4W4A" [18/Dec/2001:16:34:11 +0800] "GET /templates/images/buttons/tedsToura.gif HTTP/1.1" 200 263 "http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/home/index.jsp" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.5; Windows NT 5.0)" 111.111.111.11 - "sesessionid=QTGXOYZK3TPCTLZZGGK4W4A" [18/Dec/2001:16:35:11 +0800] "GET /templates/images/buttons/tedsToura.gif HTTP/1.1" 200 263 "http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/home/index.jsp" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.5; Windows NT 5.0)" 111.111.111.11 - "sesessionid=QTGXOYZK3TPCTLZZGGK4W4A" [18/Dec/2001:16:36:11 +0800] "GET /templates/images/buttons/tedsToura.gif HTTP/1.1" 200 263 "http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/home/index.jsp" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.5; Windows NT 5.0)" The session ids are generated randomly so users get a unique session id each time they submit the first request or restart the browser. I would like to generate a request report in the format: SESSIONS %bytes: last time: file ----: ------: ---------------: ---- 1: 100%: 18/Dec/01 16:34: GET /templates/images/buttons/tedsToura.gif The "SESSIONS" column represents the number of individual session ids which have accessed the file(URL) so in this case there was only one "visit" to "GET /templates/images/buttons/tedsToura.gif" during the analysis period even though the user selected the URL three times. Our system times out inactive sessions after half an hour and we are quite happy to report sessions as visits although of course this is not strictly accurate. Typically the end users want figures based on visits rather than requests. The only way I can get this information at the moment is if I run Analog including just one file and generate a User report for that file. I don't need to use USERINCLUDE because I want data for all the users. Basically the question is can I generate a report listing files by number of sessions rather than files by number of requests. Cheers.
