It's in the documents because it works. Can you provide a stripped down analog.cfg file and 3 line log file that demonstrates it not working? If you run Analog with analog -settings Analog will report everything it's configured to do. It can be a long report, so you may want to do analog -settings > settings.txt and then open settings.txt in Notepad. The information about which logfile is being read, it's format, and which dates Analog analyse are in the first page or so of output.
