Hello, I wanted to avoid analyzing log files that I have already analyzed. Basically I was wondering if its possible to combine analog reports into a single report. This question is motivated by the fact that while I can run an analog program on log files spanning 1/1/2001 to 1/1/2002 and then another analog instance from 1/1/2001 to 1/18/2002, there is a lot of redundant calculation being done here. AFter all, in the second analog run (spanning 1/1/2001 to 1/18/2002), I am performing work that was done in a previous invocation of analog.
So the short version of my question is, assuming identical configuration files, if I run analog on logs spanning 1/1/2001 to 1/1/2002, can I use that "report.dat" file somehow with a "report.dat" file that spans 1/2/2002 to 1/18/2002 to make a single file that spans 1/1/2001 to 1/18/2002? Thanks in advance, Dave A. +------------------------------------------------------------------------ | This is the analog-help mailing list.
