Well, it will be completely different in the next version, although I'm not
exactly sure what it will be like. This subject is substantially more
complicated than I thought previously. There are blocks of all different
sizes scattered throughout the address space.

I'm not sure whether it will be configurable, or to what extent. However,
your request has been noted.
