It's using uk.lng because that's the default lanuage file for Analog. The
"too long" error usually indicates that your are using a version of the
language file that doesn't match the version of Analog on your system.

Check what version of Analog you are using by running

analog -version

Then get the appropriate .lng file for your version of Analog, if it's not
possible to upgrade, and use a LANGFILE directive to point to it.

(Actually, I just checked, and I can't find old language files on the
analog website. Does anyone know where they are?)
