Hi! Firstly, all of those that responded to my previous logfile error problems were very helpful in that I waived that information under the right noses and I now get a log that Analog can read (it was a bad log that Web Trends managed to garbage its way though without reporting errors therefore everybody assumed that the data we had was good - uh uh!).
New question background: I want to report on a number of pages and files that get accessed (only return code 200s) and I want to get consistent data to develop some nice time charts that show increasing (or decreasing) patterns of usage. The REQUEST REPORT is the model that I want. I'd like to be able to define a set of these and have them displayed in the SAME ORDER (for readability or further data analysis) every time. reqs: file ----: ---- 118: <file:///C:/news.htm> /ins_rev/in0302.pdf 116: <file:///C:/sur_line.htm> /pub_list/pi-010.pdf 114: <file:///C:/dir_ins/dr1st-am.htm> /ociforms/11-001.pdf 114: <file:///C:/pub_list/pi-015.htm> /pub_list/pi-019.htm 112: /pub_list/pi-065.pdf 110: <file:///C:/whatsnew.htm> /pub_list/pi-047.pdf 108: <file:///C:/pub_list/pi-030.htm> /ociforms/24-031.doc The point that I'm trying to prove is that our historically paper-based state agency is really starting to deliver information better/faster electronically and that greater focus on improving our services this way is a good thing. Send less paper and deliver more information. I'd also like to be able to pinpoint new special services that we bring online just to "watch the front door" for a while to make sure that visitors are finding new information. The question: How do I define this in the config file? THANKS! MattB +------------------------------------------------------------------------ | This is the analog-help mailing list.
