Not being funny, but what output does it produce? It might be worth amending the run script/whatever to (1) run it with DEBUG ON and the error output sent to a file for your perusal. I take it there is no FROM/TO commands in the config file limiting the date range. There is also the usual suspects of change of log file format or security/permissions/directory-for-log files. Hope this gives you some places to look.
