I am running Solaris 8 on Sparc 5 workstation. I would like to install Analog on it. However, it seems that the download page for Solaris does not work. I downloaded the source code and tried to compile it by using both gcc 2.95.1 and 3.1.I got the same error messages:
Undefined first referenced symbol in file gethostbyaddr alias.o inet_addr alias.o ld: fatal: Symbol referencing errors. No output written to ../analog collect2: ld returned 1 exit status *** Error code 1 make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `analog' Current working directory /opt/packages/analog-5.23/src *** Error code 1 make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `analog` Could any experts tell me what is the problem? How can I fix it. Or where can I download the binary for Solaris 8 (32bit) Thanks in advance Sean _________________________________________________________________ MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx +------------------------------------------------------------------------ | This is the analog-help mailing list.
