No, enabling USERCASE SENSITIVE treats HK568512 as a different username
than hk568512, but the User Report now contains "adam brown" for those
entries where the user entered HK568512 and "hk568512" when they entered
their LogonID in lowercase.

Usernames are case sensitive on some platforms, so I can understand why
there would be a USERCASE switch, but I can't think of a reason why the
actual alias should be converted to lower case.
