The HOSTLOWMEM, FILELOWMEM, etc, commands are the way to handle this. If that isn't enough (with '3' settings), there are a few more steps, none very easy.
1] add more memory to the computer -- memory is cheap 2] if you can get some reports with ALL *LOWMEM settings at '3,' try setting one at a time to '2.' If this works, you can carefully combine the results of the output of those reports to achieve the same as if all settings were at '2.' But this will take at least 6 times as long as the original run and probably longer 3] Analyze what you really need to report on. Just because Analog can (or could) report something may not mean you need it. For example, do you really need a report showing the number of hits for each page on your site for the whole year or will weekly report be sufficient. Often, when it comes down to it, you can find that the most useful reports are still capable by applying filters (e.g. FROM/TO, INCLUDE/EXCLUDE) or using ALIAS commands to limits the amount of items Analog has to remember. -- Jeremy Wadsack Wadsack-Allen Digital Group Andre S Burton ([EMAIL PROTECTED]; Monday, July 22, 2002 11:16 AM): > I'm not trying to concatenate all the cache files into one.
