Hello I have searched the mail-list archives and while I can find plenty of similar problems I did not find any resolutions.
I am running analog 5.24 on log files created in IIS 4.0 on a Windows NT 4.0 server. I have had great success with Analog 5.24 and previous versions from the command line. I would now like to move to use Anlgform.exe but I am running into difficulty. When running the anlgform.exe through anlgform.html using IE 6, the browser appears to be continuously thinking while the progress in the status bar will only get half way through. No data shows in fact the browser never even refreshes from the form. I have completed the setup in the readme.txt of anlgform.exe and the setup as directed at the top of the anlgform.html. I have anlgform.exe and anlgform.cfg in the /scripts folder with the correct setup and permissions I have anlgform.html in /forms with the correct setup and permissions I have analog.exe in a separate (no web) folder on the same hard drive I have the log files in another separate folder on the same hard drive I could do the following from the command line: anlgform.exe qv=1 This works fine but when I don't set the qv option and anlgform.exe tries to run analog the process continues indefinitely. Now as I said I did read the mail-list archives and I have tried the following: 1) setting the logfile command from either the cfg file or the form 2) turning of the friendly error messages in IE 3) checking the web server log files to make sure everything is okay 4) checking analogs error file to see if anything is reported None of these helped. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you again for your understanding. Aruno Johnson +------------------------------------------------------------------------ | This is the analog-help mailing list.
