I haven't tried Mozilla yet, so I don't know if this will help.
Netscape and many other browsers allow the end user to
change fonts used in the display of fixed width (monotype)
and variable width fonts.  In the case of Netscape, going to
Edit, then Preferences, then Appearance, then Fonts makes
possible font changes.  If Mozilla has something like this, you
could change to another font on your computer that will allow
you to more easily distinguish between the numeral "1" and the
letter "l".
