I thought I remember having used or at least having seen a different kind 
of limitation than the current one in the documentation in earlier days. 
Well, you are the person to know ;-)
But, what makes analog grab this much memory even for "tiny" tasks? Even 
with a small 2 KB apache logfile it goes up very quickly to about 50 MB 
before it finishes. There is no big difference to larger files, they just 
take longer but usually don't consume much more memory.
