I'm contemplating going from analog dns resolution to a helper. There
are about a dozen listed. What are the recommendations for Linux?
Or, other question: is "outsourcing" dns res worth it?
If it's crucial for the recommendation:
The Apache log files to process are *big* and range from 10 MB
upwards per day. They are getting processed once to a daily analog
cache file and then deleted. Even this gzipped cache file is 0,5 - 1
MB of size.
