That's depends entirely on your e-mail program. Analog will only read a
standalone .gz file. If your email program stores attachments as
separate files, then Analog would be able to access the file in your
Mail folder (I wouldn't recommend doing this, but it could be made
work).

Analog can read multiple logfiles, either using wildcards, or using
multiple LOGFILE directives.

By the way, your message appeared twice, once gatewayed from the
newsgroup interface to this list, and once posted directly to the list.
Did you post your message to the newsgroup, or did the newsgroup gateway
screw up and redistribute a message back to the list?
