My hosting company provides daily analog reports for all my domains. I am quite happy with them, but now I want to to be able to get weekly/monthly reports as well. I asked the support to add weekly/monthly reports and here's their reply:
"We do not compile weekly/monthly stats as it would require logfiles that are not rotated. On sites with lots of traffic, the logfiles could get quite out of hand. If you want weekly/monthly stats, we will remove the scripts that rotates the apache logfiles. If you would like me to rotate the apache logfiles every 3 months or some other interval, let me know what interval you would like. Also, it will then be up to you to make sure that the filesystem does not get full."
