Even 10 minutes is a very long time, unless your logs are huge - I regularly analyse 100Mbyte logs in a matter of seconds, not minutes. If you are doing DNS lookups at all, use one of the DNS helper apps listed on the Analog website, that will create a DNS cache file for Analog to use. The use the DNS READ option in your config file, rather than DNS WRITE.
