Hi Thanks for the answer! yes it has! But somehow ANALOG seems to have trouble generating the search report then I found in my errors.txt file following lines:
C:\Analog\analog 5.31\analog.exe: Warning R: Turning off empty Search Query Report C:\Analog\analog 5.31\analog.exe: Warning R: Turning off empty Search Word Report C:\Analog\analog 5.31\analog.exe: Warning R: Turning off empty Internal Search Query Report C:\Analog\analog 5.31\analog.exe: Warning R: Turning off empty Internal Search Word Report C:\Analog\analog 5.31\analog.exe: Warning R: Turning off empty File Size Report -----Original Message----- From: Aengus [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, 20 March, 2003 16:09 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [analog-help] Analog Help [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > I would like to get a report about the search activity against a site > which contains a Documentation. Analog generates a Search Word and Search Query report automatically if it recognizes the Log format. Does you logfile have a few lines at the start that indicate what the server version is, and what the order of the fields in the logfile are? (Something like this: #Software: Microsoft Internet Information Server 4.0 #Version: 1.0 #Date: 2002-11-26 00:00:00 #Fields: date time c-ip cs-username cs-method cs-uri-stem cs-uri-query sc-status sc-bytes time-taken s-port cs(User-Agent) cs(Cookie) cs(Referer) If not, you can create a manual LOGFORMAT, but are you sure your log entries really have a Browser string at the start and end of each line?
