I'm running the site, uploading directly from frontpage. how would i be able to find out what server we have? the computer is a work computer with an intra and internet page. i want the stats on the internet page. from what i understand, all our computers are networked to an server and i'm not sure what web server hosts the site. i don't get access to any of that information through frontpage which is what they're having me use and the is department doesn't know what i'm talking about when i say a logfile and what server i need to access. how can i get info on the web server to get the logfiles? thanks so much.
where would the web server config file be? thanks so much

You said the server is running MS 2000 OS, by which I am assuming you mean Windows 2000.
Internet Information Services (IIS) is the web server that comes with Windows 2000.
If your server is using this, the logfiles well be kept in:
c:\winnt\system32\LogFiles
There will be a folder for each web/ftp site that the physical server hosts.
For the first web site, the folder is called W3SVC1, for the second W3SVC2, and so on.
If you have more than one site on the server, which you implied you did, you'll have to match up the site to the log file.
Within each folder will be a series of files. You'll have to look at the first to letters in the filename to figure out what format the logfiles are in.
The remainder of the name will tell you what period the logs are kept for (daily, monthly, etc).
Keep in mind that all of this is only true if you are using IIS.
Hope this helps.

I can't seem to find what/where the logfile is for my site. I'm running a analog 5.32 on MS 2000 OS
It says it generates a report but then there are 0 results.
