-- Marius,
Your "README.MacOS_X" for analog-5.32 states:
o O o
analog-5.32 - MacOS X/Darwin
To install:
$sudo ./install.sh Password:
Then edit /etc/analog.cfg for your server.
That's it!
o O o
But where do you put the analog-5.32 directory for this? I put it and install.sh in the root directory and got

Another question. What access_log text file format is required for analog-5.32 on Darwin unix? I split off monthly Apache access_log files in Fetch ftp binary from my virtual server, to preserve the unix text line breaks required by some other unix programs I am using on the Darwin terminal; but I find that I have to convert them (in TextEdit or BBEdit) to plain Mac text to use them with analog-5.90 on the OS X desktop. Am I to assume analog-5.32 uses the these files in unix text format - as does analog-5.22 on my virtual server (giving me daily cron analog reports, accessible by browser)?
In this connection I have another problem. As mentioned, since working with Mac OS X I have been getting monthly access_log split-offs (20 MB) from my server master access_log file in binary to preserve the unix format.. However, prior 2002 and Mac OS X, I got these monthly split-offs in Fetch ftp text format; but I can't access them on analog-5.90 - as I can the 2002 and 2003 monthly binary files converted to Mac plain text format on TextEdit or BBEdit.
I've tried converting them to unix format and then back to plain text format on TextEdit or BBEdit, but they still don't work on desktop analog-5.90. Are there some analog.cfg entries which enable the handling of all these different log file formats - unix text, rich text, plain text?
One final question. On analog.cfg for desktop analog-5.90 I have set the floors to R in order to list all the Request and Search Query Reports, etc., but each only come up with a list of 20 and a notice of the total. Is there some over-riding limitation to 20 listings in analog.cfg which I can change?
Any assistance you can give will be much appreciated. I'd like to run the archived yearly access_log files for previous years on analog-5.90, converted from binary to Mac simple text. If not, I hope that when I get analog-5.32 going I can access them converted to unix text format.
In hopes you can help me,
Thanks,
