I apologize for the asinine request, but the suits & beancounters want analog to output base 10 prefixes, not base 2. :^(
I haven't been able to find any directives to alter the output in that way; about the nearest (I refuse to call it "best") way is to use RAWBYTES to turn off prefixes. But I have been asked to research whether it is possible to report, e.g., 720093212513 bytes as "720 GB" instead of "670 GB". Thank you. -- Michael S Hill <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> IBM Global Services (303)924-9001 T/L 263-9001 Boulder, CO +------------------------------------------------------------------------ | TO UNSUBSCRIBE from this list: | http://lists.isite.net/listgate/analog-help/unsubscribe.html | | Digest version: http://lists.isite.net/listgate/analog-help-digest/ | Usenet version: news://news.gmane.org/gmane.comp.web.analog.general | List archives: http://www.analog.cx/docs/mailing.html#listarchives +------------------------------------------------------------------------
