I've got a script that adds
websites to IIS, and the ini and cfg files to be used only have a few lines that
I need to get populated for it to be 100% automated...
From analog.cfg:
LOGFILE
c:\logfiles\w3svc1\ex*.log
(where the w3svc# needs to be
dynamic)
That's really the only line that
needs to be pulled from IIS at site creation, everything else is paths that
can be d:\www\%1\, or 'www.%1', etc.. which are easy.
I am using a vbscript to make the
sites in IIS, I don't know if there is a seperate utility to pull that w3svc
number after the site is made, or if I need to do something else?
ANY ideas are greatly
appreciated.
