[analog-help] Logformat not correct??

Hi I'm very new to this. I have downloaded my logfile from the server and pointed analog at it usng the config file. It runs OK except that I have a huge number of lines which are reported as corrupt.  I turned debugging on and looked at it. It said that it was in NCSA combined format but then it reported that virtually every line was corrupt. I only got 2 lines read in. It also looked as though every other line was a '*' (asterisk). Is this common?

 

An excerpt from the error file is as follows:

Notice that it says that the earliest entry is Dec 99 and last entry is Jan 2000. The log file only contains March 2004 data. How can this be?

 

I'd really appreciate any help on this problem.
