Certain other logfile analyzers can be run in in an "update" mode which
adds new log information to an existing report. From reading through the
FAQs and documentation, I don't see any references to such a mode in
Analog or whether it's simply an implied, default behavior.

My current setup of Analog has me outputting reports in computer-readable
format to a file called report.dat which I then feed to ReportMagic. I
would like to be able to run Analog, have it add the new information to
report.dat, and then be free to delete/turnover/rotate my logfiles.

I do apologize if this is covered somewhere in the FAQ or documentation; I
read quite a bit of it but it's a lot of information and it's possible I
skipped over it. While it's possible to answer my own question
experimentally, I figured emailing this list would be quicker.

My gut tells me it's the default behavior, but I just want to be sure.

Thanks in advance,
