Searched through the logfiles and their are no .htm files on the site (our content management system doesnt let anyone put files with .htm extenstion on the site)
It looks like it is counting all the index.html files as .htm, when using just a small sample log file.

X-Analog: yes

When I run analog, it (in the file type report) tells me 160520 request
for PDF's, 457022 request for htm files 274040 requests for html files
4002 requests for mpg's and so on thru the various file types. But we
have NO .htm files on our site, so where is this number coming from, and
what does it really repersent?

Run analog with the commands FILEEXCLUDE * FILEINCLUDE *.htm Or just look in your logfiles to see what files end in .htm.
