Two questions:
1. I still think having a distinctive hosts COL value would be great. So
far I have not found a analog command for that. Did I miss a analog
feature or am requesting a new feature
This is in the FAQ. See docs/faq.html#faq128
But this won't beat an additional distinct hosts COL value, just like
all those RrSsPpQqBbCc colums. I will keep an eye on this topic.
Hopefully I can figure out how to enable it in analog, say applying a patch.
2. How to output the reference url from search engine sites for a search
query? Say, for a query 'southwestern bell', how can I know which search
engine it is from?
You have to restrict the report to just that search query and then look in
the Referring Sites Report. See the same FAQ.
After I put all of the interested search engine urls into REFREPINCLUDE,
REFERRER report did give references from them. This is acceptable since
i can get other referrers from the global report. ( I have two rounds of
analog reporting, one is globaly for all web sites, the other for
individual vhosts).
