That and the fact that management really likes the 'pretty charts and graphs' of WebTrends has been the biggest hurdle.
Right now we use AWStats and Analog, and let them choose which report the want to look at. Either way it's better than trying to support WebTrends. ;)

I'm considering the same approache: offering both analog and awtats reports. Unfortunately awstats cannot recognize my customized apache log format. I have to hack around to fix it. Also it is slower and might be better for detailed reports on a smal portion of the log data.
