I am trying to run ReportMagic with Analog. I configure Analog
config.cfg using the RixWeb CFG file creator and configure the output file
as
Output File Name: myreport.dat
instead of myreport.html as I would for analog.exe
and then configure in my.ini for ReportMagic
File_In = myreport.dat
run a batch file
call c:\analog\analog.exe logfile.log +g"config.cfg" -G
call c:\ReportMagic\rmagic.exe my.ini
I get an error message that the input data myreport.dat apprears to have
wrong kind of data. Data in myreport.dat is really that the html page that
analog generates but has .dat extension rather than html extension.
It would have been helpful if example CFG file and example .INI files links
in the web page http://www.analog.cx/how-to/anrmwin/index.html works.
But the two links in the ICON website does not provide these two pages.
It appears that File_In for ReportMagic should have a structure similar to
Sample.dat that comes with the ReportMagic software. If so, how do I set
the configuration file either for Analog or ReportMagic so that Analog would
produce an output file that has a structure similar to Sample.Dat?
Our university uses Analog as its weblog analyzer. I would like to
help it incorporate ReportMagic for some of its weblog analysis.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
