I use statements in the analog.cfg file
FROM 041001:0000 TO 041031:2359
assuming you keep a month's worth of logs.
If you want something like last seven days, you can use these statements, which I copied from my cfg file on Unix system:
# Relative values eliminate 'overlap' warnings (0000-2359) FROM -00-00-07:0000 TO -00-00-01:2359
