I sent this query a while back and got no answer. Anyone want to take a crack at it? This is with regard to the Browser Summary. In our server logs, the appCodeName is ALWAYS Mozilla, and the appName for Mozilla, Netscape, Safari and Firefox is always "Netscape." So how does the report derive "Mozilla," "Netscape" and "Netscape (compatible)"?

Here's what I wrote last month:

Hi, can anyone tell me, in the Browser Report, the difference between "Netscape" and "Netscape (compatible)"? A portion of my output looks like this:

pages: %pages: browser
-----: ------: -------
 7735: 10.73%: Netscape (compatible)
 2556: 3.55%: Mozilla
 2518: 3.49%: Mozilla/1
   18: 0.02%: Mozilla/0
 1913: 2.65%: Netscape
 1045: 1.45%: Netscape/7
  742: 1.03%: Netscape/4
  117: 0.16%: Netscape/6
    5: 0.01%: Netscape/3
    1: : Netscape/5
 1188: 1.65%: Safari
  955: 1.33%: Safari/125
  178: 0.25%: Safari/85
   54: 0.07%: Safari/100

Thanks.
