Subject: Re: [analog-help] error in reading ip address
Thank you. Now I found that the ip 10.23.229.69 is actually the webserver. How can I ignore it from the report? I don't want it being counted as unknown domain. I've tried HOSTEXCLUDE. But it doesn't work.
Molly
You need to HOSTEXCLUDE whatever the host name is after the IP is resolved. If it isn't assigned one, you can give it a custom name by editing the dnscache file then HOSTEXCLUDE that. If you have a large enough DNSGOODHOURS, then it won't get changed any time soon. This all assumes you are using some sort of DNS lookups.
