I suspected that might be the case. There used to be a block-scan tool on the Web ~ one of Sam Spade's tools ~ that would run the IP addresses for an entire Class C block and list the urls that came back ~ usually there would be a canonical name in there somewhere.

   Doing it 200 thousand times, though ...
