I'm getting the "Fatal error: Ran out of memory" message on one of the
reports I run. I read through some of the list archives for tips, but I
couldn't figure out what causes the error message. (i.e. Am I out of
physical memory? Am I out of virtual memory? Am I out of addressable
memory?)

If more physical RAM or a 64bit processor/OS would take care of the error,
I'd rather do that that futz with lowmem commands (which didn't seem to help
last time I tried to tackle this).

Here are some of the specs I'm working with:

Analog 6
Windows XP Pro
1.5 GB RAM
4 GB pagefile
4.11 GB log data
2.4 GB commit change peak


Error log:

analog: [06:34:43] 500000 lines read
...time passes...
analog: [07:41:41] 352500000 lines read
analog: [07:42:01] 353000000 lines read
analog: Fatal error: Ran out of memory: cannot continue: exiting
