In this particular case, the legends and descriptions can be given as text (of
the appropriate color) instead of being part of the picture file. That way,
final rendering of the text will be left to the user's software (web-browser,
etc.), which knows much more about fonts, than analog needs to.
Actually with pie charts, it's often much easier to understand the
results and meaning of the report if labels are applied to the wedges.
However, this should be done in such a way that the labels do not
overlap and are readable against the background color of the wedge.
Often this requires some human to do the visual work. :-)
