At 06:45p -0500 03/28/2005, Patrick Gormley didst inscribe upon an
electronic papyrus:
I finally got this to partially work this afternoon. The settings
file is now recognized and the logfile, defined in the settings
file, is also recognized. The output from analog states that about
200,000 lines are read, but when I check the output file there is
virtually nothing there. I am issuing the following command:
analog -G +g/Volumes/HD/Applications/Analog/myconfigfile.cfg
Within the myconfigfile.cfg file I have a line which directs Analog
to use a specific logfile. This line looks like:
LOGFILE "/Volumes/HD/Applications/Analog/Logs/*.gz"
Analog seems to be reading, but not processing the 200,000 log file
lines because the output file does not contain anything but about 6
lines.
Is "HD" your startup disk? If so, don't use "/Volumes/HD".
