Hi,
I ran a report on the same log files once with cfg file having DNS WRITE ON and once when it is commented out (both cases with FAILHOSTFLOOR 1R), in order to analyze the Host Failure report.
The report results do not match:
a. With DNS WRITE disabled, I get the full and correct listing of all failed Host IP addresses.
b. With DNS WRITE ON, I get only a subset of the full failed host listing. Some
IP addresses that were in the (a) report do not show now, neither as pure
IP nor as resolved ones. However, looking at the dnscache file, the missing failed
hosts do appear there, fully resolved.
I would appreciate any help on this issue - why don't I get the full list of failed hosts when DNS WRITE is ON (either as resolved or as IP address)
