Ok so I'm obviously doing something wrong, who wants to tell me what it is?
Running Analog 6.0 and I looked up the references found the HOSTEXCLUDE command and have in my analog.cfg file:
HOSTEXCLUDE yaffa.com.au HOSTEXCLUDE 203.111.75.195 HOSTEXCLUDE 128.1.1.* HOSTEXCLUDE 192.168.120.*
which are all the permutations I can think of for our internal hosts. A sample of a relivant log file that I would like ignored looks like:
2004-11-28 23:17:55 203.111.75.195 - 203.111.75.197 80 GET /nah/helpinfo.gif - 304 Mozilla/4.0+(compatible;+MSIE+6.0;+Windows+98;+OZHARLIT6.0_1) 2004-11-28 23:18:26 203.111.75.195 - 203.111.75.197 80 POST /nah/default.asp - 200 Mozilla/4.0+(compatible;+MSIE+6.0;+Windows+98;+OZHARLIT6.0_1) 2004-11-28 23:18:39 203.111.75.195 - 203.111.75.197 80 POST /nah/default.asp - 200 Mozilla/4.0+(compatible;+MSIE+6.0;+Windows+98;+OZHARLIT6.0_1)
so it looks like the 203.111.75.195 should hit and be ignored, however a quick peek at:
http://www2.yaffa.com.au/ServerStats.htm
in the Organisation report sections shows the yaffa.com.au as the largest acceser - we aren't being ignored?
Any clues on how to fix this and make ourselves invisible in the reports?
