Thanks for that, but will analog generate Request Reports *for each month* so I can compare month by month, or will it just give me *one* Request report covering the total time period?

You can specify the period that Analog should include in the repport on the
command line:
Analog +F041201:0000 +T041231:2359
(generate a report based on log entries created in December 2004).

Note that Analog will still ahve to read all the logs, but it will simple ignore log entries outside the specified time.
