This may be related to a known issue with DNS lookups under OS X. Try
turning that off with DNS NONE (or DNS READ). If that doesn't work, then
maybe you are running short of memory. See
http://analog.cx/docs/lowmem.html for how to handle that.

Hi all,
A month or so ago I compiled Analog version 5.32/OSX on my powerbook
to run analog against some logfiles on our network.
Everything went great.
Today, I'm trying to run the same report and, after every logfile I'm
seeing this set of error messages:
analog(1478) malloc: *** vm_allocate(size=20480) failed (error code=-301)
analog(1478) malloc: *** error: can't allocate region
analog(1478) malloc: *** set a breakpoint in szone_error to debug
I'm poking around in the list archives but finding this.. can anyone
tell me what these mean? (I know the analog means 'analog' and (1478)
is the process number)...
Any guidance or assistance would be greatly appreciated!
Joshua
