Hi there! I try to use cache files. But it doesn't work properly. I don't understand why the number of request differs from a normal analog run. I tried the following: first i made up five "days". each in one log file(1,2,3,4,5) then i created a logfile with all of these days together(copy and paste - file name: all5). then i ran analog with the normal config file on the all5. after that i made three config files one for the first cachefile run, one for the runs in between, one for the last run. in the first cache configfile i used CACHEFILEOUT. in the second cache cfgfile i used CACHEFILEIN and CACHEFILEOUT. in the last cache cfgfile i used only CACHEFILEIN. Theres no double counting of cachefiles. it seemed to work but it didn't count requests/status codes correctly because it didn't work i made cachefiles from "5" and "all5" this is what the cachefiles say about the statutscode "all5": c 200 7 18720000 c 206 2 18714240 c 304 1 18717120 c 404 4 18718560 "5": c 200 3 18717120 c 206 2 18714240 c 304 1 18717120 c 404 3 18718560 when i analysed all the cachefiles i realized that requests of some days were not counted correctly. for example there was one day with three requests, all with the same status code all from the same ip and with different targets. analog only counts two of these requests and status codes. even if i run analog without cachefiles for that specific day. thanks for any help. michael
