I’ve been struggling with the logformat for days, the hosting provider uses Apache, but will not give me the details in the configuration file, because they want me to purchase Matrix Stats for my website, but this is too costly.
This is a sample of the log file:-
andysworld.org.uk: [12/Sep/2005:20:13:44 +0100] 207.46.98.30 - - "GET /angelfishcam/multicams.html HTTP/1.0" 200 3083 "-" "msnbot/1.0 (+http://search.msn.com/msnbot.htm)"
I can understand the above, but cannot get the format correct for the Logformat or ApaceLogformat correctly.
andysworld.org.uk is the virtual host. I think %v, I thought the format was APACHELOGFORMAT (%v %t %h %l %u \"%r"\ %>s %b), but could not get this to work correctly.
Any help would be appreciated.
