While trying to run a year-to-date report, I get an out-of-memory error.  The machine is a V880 with 16 GB of RAM running Solaris 8.

I’ve read the documentation and have the settings for each of the following directives as restrictive as I can:

HOSTLOWMEM

FILELOWMEM

BROWLOWMEM

REFLOWMEM

USERLOWMEM

VHOSTLOWMEM

Before the process dies, prstat and top show about 4 GB of memory utilization.  Curiously, it is during the generation of the report that analog runs out of memory, not while processing the logs.

Any hints or tricks to further reduce the amount of memory utilization by analog is greatly appreciated.
