Hi,

I see now problem and could fix it, but it seems to be a problem in Logifle:

Old Logfile Entry example

lb-gw.front - - [01/Apr/2004:03:40:05 +0200] "GET /karate/Home.html HTTP/1.1" 200 521 "-" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; grub-client-1.5.3; Crawl your own stuff with http://grub.org)"

new Logfile-Entry example

66-194-6-70.gen.twtelecom.net - - [17/Sep/2005:09:52:39 +0200] "GET / Home.html HTTP/1.1" 200 1749 "-" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; Q312467)"

In both Logfiles I don't see the basic URL. The first LogFile-Entry has the BASEUrl http://www.sailer/online.de and the second http:// www.ukd-stuttgart.de. But I can't see this information. Because I have for all domains one Logfile I will have in new format for every domain possibly an /index.html and I don't know what domain is this coming from. In the old Logifleformat I always get the information in the GET-Statement based on the 1st Domain, because this was the basic- domain, but this changed that I have now for every domain a new startingpoint.

So in my point of view the logfile is the problem. I'am lucky at the moment that all html-files from second domain have different names as html-files from 1. domain. So I can make a long long FILEINCLUDE- List ;-))

Also from 3rd domain html-files are special.
To find problem was a hard work.

Thanks Aengus for your answer.

bye

Claudius

Hello,

I have 2 domains and my provider had until december 2004 a problem with making correct Logfiles. The second domain wasn't shown correctly. In Logfile the 2 domain was shown als path to the 1 domain.

In my Logfiles in the past I had URLs like http://www.sailer- online.de/karate/XXXX

So I set FILEINCLUDE /karate/* because my second domain points to this
Now provider made some changes and I see in Logfile now

http://www-ukd-stuttgart.de/XXX

2 domain http://www-ukd-stuttgart.de point to 1 domain http:// www.sailer-online.de/karate

now I have problem that my filter doesn't match. How can I set filter that the old Logfiles are correct read and the new one too?

I tried

FILEINCLUDE /karate/*
FILEINCLUDE http://www.ukd-stuttgart.de/*

but this doesn't work :-((
