Aengus, Thanks for your quick response. I tried using the VHOSTEXCLUDE and I also tried HOSTEXCLUDE, but I didn't have any luck.
HOSTEXCLUDE fc.antiochne.edu HOSTEXCLUDE mail.antiochsea.edu HOSTEXCLUDE mail.antiochla.edu HOSTEXCLUDE mail.antiochsb.edu I have included some lines from my logfile. These are old logfiles that I am trying to analyze, so I can't adjust the format or anything. I am thinking that I may need to try and remove the unwanted lines from the logfile if I can't do it with Analog, but that is going to be a serious pain in the tush. You are welcome to email me directly at [EMAIL PROTECTED] if you have any further suggestions. -----------------------LOGFILE LINES---------------------------------------------------- c-24-17-62-160.client.comcast.net - - [30/Sep/2004:00:00:03 -0400] "GET http://mail.antiochsea.edu/Images/PwrdByFC.gif HTTP/1.1" 304 175 "http://mail.antiochsea.edu/Login/000293FF-80000002/" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; Q312461; .NET CLR 1.1.4322)" c-24-17-62-160.client.comcast.net - - [30/Sep/2004:00:00:03 -0400] "GET http://mail.antiochsea.edu/Images/Banner.gif HTTP/1.1" 304 175 "http://mail.antiochsea.edu/Login/000293FF-80000002/" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; Q312461; .NET CLR 1.1.4322)" c-24-17-62-160.client.comcast.net - - [30/Sep/2004:00:00:05 -0400] "GET http://mail.antiochsea.edu/Images/PwrdByFC.gif HTTP/1.1" 304 175 "http://mail.antiochsea.edu/Login/000293FF-80000002/S01D6A68D?WasRead=1" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; Q312461; .NET CLR 1.1.4322)" c-24-17-62-160.client.comcast.net - - [30/Sep/2004:00:00:05 -0400] "GET http://mail.antiochsea.edu/Images/Banner.gif HTTP/1.1" 304 175 "http://mail.antiochsea.edu/Login/000293FF-80000002/S01D6A68D?WasRead=1" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; Q312461; .NET CLR 1.1.4322)" boston3.proxyconn.net - - [30/Sep/2004:00:00:11 -0400] "GET http://apdept.antiochne.edu/homemenus.js HTTP/1.0" 200 5674 "http://apdept.antiochne.edu/Home/" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322)" boston3.proxyconn.net - - [30/Sep/2004:00:00:13 -0400] "GET http://apdept.antiochne.edu/menuengine.js HTTP/1.0" 200 22016 "http://apdept.antiochne.edu/Home/" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322)" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Message: 3 Date: Fri, 18 Nov 2005 22:28:34 -0500 From: "Aengus" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Re: [analog-help] Removing certain domains from log fils or Analogresults To: "Support for analog web log analyzer" <[email protected]> Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 On Friday, November 18, 2005 2:42 PM [EDT], Bonnie Powers <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >> My web log files include hits for multiple domains (and host headers) >> see the list below. If that doesn't work, can you post your logformat, and a couple of sample logfile lines?
