Ive looked in the docs for this, but ive failed to find anything, so
im wondering if it cant be done, or if its just me that cant find
it.
I have some subdomains (so.moso.dk, mo.moso.dk and so on), can i get
analog to make statistics on the percentage of hits to the different
subdomains for my domain?
The Virtual Host Report (VHOST ON) should do what you need.
Yes ofcource, its VHOST :) However I cant get it to work :( Im using
the standard analog.cf from the FreeBSD ports collection with the
following changes:
--------- SNIP ---------
LOGFORMAT COMBINED
"COMBINED" doesn't include any VHOST information.
The other commands works fine (BROWSERREP, BROWSERSUM and so on), but
the "VHOST ON" does nothing? Why? Does my Apache not log this
information?
It doesn't look like it - and Analog can't analyise missing information.
Hereunder is a snippet of my log:
--------- SNIP ---------
172.16.0.121 - - [22/Nov/2005:15:21:41 +0100] "GET
/gallery/galleries.html HTTP/1.1" 200 2814 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows;
U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5"
There is nothing in that log entry that indicates which VHOsT served the
request.
Ok, thanks :) Do you know what I have to do to turn on virtual host
information logging in Apache2?
Best regards
Søren
