There are two reasons why the Search Reports don't appear - either you don't
have any referrers in your logfile, or you haven't specified appropriate
SEARCHENGINE commands - http://analog.cx/docs/args.html#SEARCHENGINE

Anywhere you like - Analog reads and parses the whole file on startup.

But you'd need DNS WRITE unless you already have a dnscache file, created
using one of the DNS helper apps. (Analog isn't optimised for DNS
operations - unless you have a fairly small logfile, using a DNS helper is
strongly recommended - http://analog.cx/helpers/index.html#dns ).
