By default, Analog has to go through everything to generate a report. But it can be configured to generate cache files that can be used to generate future reports. Cache files are summaries of the information in a log file, so they are much smaller than the original log file, but you do lose some cross-referencing information - you can't get a list of the hosts that accessed a particular page from a cache file, for example, as you can from the original logfiles. http://analog.cx/docs/cache.html Aengus +------------------------------------------------------------------------ | TO UNSUBSCRIBE from this list: | http://lists.meer.net/mailman/listinfo/analog-help | | Analog Documentation: http://analog.cx/docs/Readme.html | List archives: http://www.analog.cx/docs/mailing.html#listarchives | Usenet version: news://news.gmane.org/gmane.comp.web.analog.general +------------------------------------------------------------------------
