303 is considered a redirection, so it isn't counted as a successful hit
anyway.

I just ran a tst against this sample logfile:

10.1.2.3 - - [17/Mar/2006:16:26:00 +0000] "GET /200.htm HTTP/1.1" 200 12
10.1.2.3 - - [17/Mar/2006:16:26:00 +0000] "GET /303.htm HTTP/1.1" 303 34
10.1.2.3 - - [17/Mar/2006:16:26:00 +0000] "GET /302.htm HTTP/1.1" 302 56
10.1.2.3 - - [17/Mar/2006:16:26:00 +0000] "GET /304.htm HTTP/1.1" 304 78

200.htm and 304.htm are the only entries in the Request Report. 302.htm and
303.htm are listed in the Redirection Report. All 4 codes are listed in the
Status Report. The General Summary reads:

Successful requests: 2
Successful requests for pages: 2
Redirected requests: 2
Distinct files requested: 2
