That's interesting.
I'm not expert (I'm new to analog myself) but from what little I know about streaming is it can't log it as a single access. When someone pauses or whatever it stops the stream, and then they pick it up again it is like a new file.
I think you put these into a spreadsheet broken by spaces and compared each line, each cell, to another you would begin to see some sense in it.
At least one of those numbers is going to be bytes transferred and you will see it increase until it hits the end.
You may not be able to track how many files are started streaming and how many fully stream. You may only be able to track individual clients, files accessed and bytes transferred.

Hi list.

I'm new to analog *and* to windows media server.
The point is I need to know how many times a wmv file was played.

When you play a file WMS seems to register every action I make to the player (play, pause, stop, etc) so this cause an entry in the log.

so, this is the log for these actions: open, pause, play, stop.

The question is how can I know how many unique times the users had access to this file?
If I count the occurences in the log I have (in this case) 8 times more than the real access.

thanks in advance!
